鼻毛の本数、便を見守るトイレ…今年のイグ・ノーベル賞、全部見せ：朝日新聞デジタル - 朝日新聞デジタル

　人々を笑わせ、考えさせた研究に贈られるイグ・ノーベル賞の2023年の授賞式が14日（日本時間15日）、開かれた。東京大の中村裕美特任准教授と明治大の宮下芳明教授が「栄養学賞」に、国際基督教大のクリスチャン・チャン准教授らが「教育学賞」に、それぞれ選ばれた。

　このほか、八つの賞が発表された。朝日新聞は受賞した研究チームや個人すべてに取材した。業績の内容や受賞者のコメントは以下の通り。

機械工学賞「死んだクモを生き返らせ、機械的把持器具として使用」

　米ライス大のダニエル・プレストン助教ら

　コモリグモという仲間のクモを低温で「安楽死」させ、死体の胴体に針を刺して固定。体内に注いだ液体の圧力を注射器で変化させることで、8本の脚を開閉させ、ものをつかむための器具として活用する方法を発明した。

　クモの死体はプラスチックなどとは違い、自然の中で分解される「生分解性材料」。このため環境に優しい技術だというのがセールスポイントの一つだ。

　「死」を意味する「ネクロ（necro）」という言葉と、「ロボティクス」を組み合わせた「ネクロボティクス（Necrobotics）」という新技術の開発に踏み出す第一歩だという。研究チームは「我々の祖先は（死体の）骨を道具として使ったり、毛皮を衣服にしたりしてきた。だが、生き物の死体を丸ごと動的なロボット部品にしたのは、これが初だろう」と誇っている。

北海道や九州に秋雨前線の雨雲 長崎県・佐賀県には大雨警報 - ウェザーニュース

今日は、秋雨前線が北海道～本州日本海沿岸を通過します。

今朝はすでに九州北部を中心に活発な雨雲がかかり、4時40分までの1時間には、長崎県平戸市で78.5mm、5時50分までの1時間には、長崎県長崎市・長浦岳で70.5mmの非常に激しい雨を観測しました。

長崎地方気象台は南部を中心に線状降水帯による非常に激しい雨が同じ場所で降り続いているとして、7時00分に「顕著な大雨に関する情報」を発表。3時間に100mm以上の雨の降っている所があり、土砂災害の危険度が高まっている状況です。長崎県や佐賀県の一部には大雨警報も発表されています。
